The man who sacrifices himself to save an Afghan child from harm

This post is special as it present a story about an "Unsung Hero" who managed to save a child from the moving armored fighting vehicle. However, after saving the child from a moving MRAP, the Rhode Island National Guardsman had no time left to get himself out of harm’s way.

Spc. Dennis Weichel, Jr., 29, who was less than a month into his March 2012 deployment to Afghanistan suddenly noticed that multiple Afghan children were running into the path of their convoy. He and one of the member from his unit dismounted to direct the children to safety, as hulking MRAPs barrelled down on them.

The children complied. But one boy raced to pick up brass shell casings in the road and Weichel saw the boy head into the path of the approaching to MRAP and he immediately react to save the child. The Afghan child was still alive and uninjured. However Weichel was run over by the massive truck and was mortally wounded. He then died from his injuries.

Weichel then was posthumously promoted to the rank of sergeant and awarded the Bronze Star.

What a sad story ;'). However he have done a powerful good deed. :)

During the mission, he had to face the cold weather plus the dark view of night and the main obstacles is there will be no path as it will depend on the expertise of the guides, which represent he and his team. More challenging, they will need to choose the direction that will lead to the area of accident cite where for sure will have the dead bodies which is about 700m from Laban Rata, between KM 6.5 and 7. "I don't think they are alive, but it is our duty to find them," said by Richard.

From this event, we can see Richard Soibi's bravery where he need to face the danger during working, and do it willingly as their duty.

Variety of "Heroes" Definition

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

How you guys today? I hope you guys will be just fine ;). So today I will start my topic with a question, what is the meaning of "Unsung Heroes"?
Kids describe "Hero" as their
cartoon superhero.

Okay first and foremost, I’m pretty sure that most of us do not really know about the actual definition of “Unsung Heroes”. Even the word heroes itself bring a variety of definition. For example kids would probably
think that hero is cartoon character that that will defeat criminals and become the enforcement of justice, a mother would think that hero is a handsome chief male character in a story or movie, and a grandfather would said hero as a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability. As we can see these kind of ages picture the hero meaning differently.

To make it clear, hero in this particular field means a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities, while for unsung word means not noticed or praised for hard work, courage, or great achievements. Finally as the conclusion, the full definition for
“unsung heroes” is the group of people who makes a bravery substantive yet unrecognized or unacknowledged contribution to the world.

Are the popular Movie's Hero Arnold Schwarzenegger
 same as the Unsung Hero?

So, it seems that we have already know what "Unsung Heroes" stand for and I'm already have the answer of my question! See you in the next post!
